Is reservation for real at the Mirage?

I received an offer for three nights at th Mirage. When I reserved the room with my offer they did not require a credit card. They gave me a confirmation number and said they were willing to email the reservation. I never received the email. When I called back they assured me we were all set. Is this reservation for real? Normally I would not care and I would reserve a room elsewhere, but the M Life offer comes with $100 in free play and a dining credit. At this point I am thinking of staying elsewhere and paying for my room and just picking up the keys in order to get the perks. I would hate to travel to Vegas on a weekend and need to sleep in my rental car b cause the Mirage reservation was bogus. Please help.
probably safe, but I would feel a little unsure too. can u request from them again to email you a confirmation?
Can you view your reservation online?
MGM properties have never asked me for a credit card and my reservation and any offer benefits have always been fine. If they gave you a confirmation number, you're all set.

Ditto what Mare said.
You'll give them your ID and CC when you check in.

Ditto what Mare and Candy said--altho they have sent me an email when I asked.
Thank you all for your timely replies.
