M life debut tomorrow

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 10, 2011 -- Tomorrow, MGM Resorts International (MGM) will launch M life (), a loyalty program that leverages the combined power of its resorts in Las Vegas, Mississippi and Detroit. Benefiting from an unmatched collection of amenities, members will enjoy one-of-a-kind experiences exclusive to MGM Resorts, insider privileges, personalized rewards and an aspirational tiered approach with escalating earning potential. M life is launching as a casino rewards club; later this year, it will expand into a full loyalty program recognizing guest spend on hotel stays, shopping, dining and more.

Among many benefits, M life members can earn unique M life moments, including selecting The Fountains of Bellagio songs for a day, enjoying a cameo role in Cirque du Soleil's Viva ELVIS at ARIA Resort & Casino, serving as a guest DJ at one of Vegas' hottest clubs at MGM Grand, becoming a dolphin trainer for a day at The Mirage, cooking lessons with Bravo's Top Chef Masters celebrity chef Rick Moonen at Mandalay Bay, receiving one-on-one dance lessons with world-famous Jabbawockeez at Monte Carlo, and much more.

In combination with its world-renowned offerings, M life uses proprietary analytical technology that better tracks consumer preferences to create individualized rewards that are meaningful to members. If someone attends a Madonna concert, they may receive an offer to Lady Gaga; a George Strait concertgoer may receive an invite to the Country Music Awards at MGM Grand.A fine-dining connoisseur may receive an offer to a private wine dinner. A slot player may receive a FREEPLAY offer, while a table games player will be offered promotional chips.

"M life represents a major shift for MGM Resorts in the way we are engaging our guests," said Jim Murren, Chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts. "We've listened to our customers and designed M life to deliver on their preferences, leveraging a caliber of assets no other resort group can offer. In terms of business impact, M life will enable us to retain a larger share of existing customer spend, activate new customers, increase customer frequency and provide better return on investment for promotional expenditure."

The company currently is undergoing the largest company-wide training initiatives in its history, educating its more than 60,000 employees to become experts on M life.
Thanks for the info.We already have it here in Detroit and it is fine.It seems alot like Harrahs with special lines for check in,club booth.lounge etc. depending on your level. It is nice to use your free play and point play from your machine and see comp balance. They did however put a freeze on my account after I stayed at the Mirage.I asked the players booth why and she said they freeze it when you stay at a property.I explained I was RLFB upfront thru my host and she that they freeze accounts a few days after a stay to make sure everything balanced out.Not sure what that meant however about a week later my comp account was active again and didn't seem to be emptied.Curious to see how it all works.
CRAP program.. All of the offers don't show for MGM Detroit. They stopped mailing out offers and spam my email box instead with junk. How about NO resort fee that would be a great program. I don't need $20 internet and water!!
Great reply to that spam message.

They have posted the tier specific benefits for Vegas, what an absolute croc! I am platinum and for the privilege of my 578,000 points I get……….drum roll please……….a 15% discount at “participating” retail outlets and priority “access” to fine dining reservations.

Well, this looks like a downgrade cloaked in a pretty package.

I guess I'll see how it plays out.

If my comps stay as they are then I don't care what changes they claim are an improvement.

If they don't...there are other casinos who like me.

Just have to wait and see.
If I want "M life" I'll just take my business to M.
With the old site I had 22 offers, none of which expired until the end of January. With the new site, the majority of them have disappeared. I know I can probably call the specific casinos, but is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I just went there.

As usual, they made things confusing.

My offers have also decreased in number.

The ones that are there are OK, just not as many. LOL

All their hotels are listed but fewer in number.

The expiration dates range from March 31 to June 30.

They usually send me mailers and/or emails as well.

Those are much cleaner in their presentation.

I'll wait and see if they continue with that manner of contact.
I notice circus circus is not listed. I cant wait to see what their slot club says. I only stayed there once, years ago when my kids would enjoy the dome, and hated the manor. I got a great rate on the better tower later this month, and expect some frank talk about cash back before I'll make a run at bonus poker for 25c which seems to be the best offering for quarters. Good luck with M life!
