M Resort offer questions

We have received an offer thru my local casino for a comped 2 night stay at M with $25 free play per day and a one time $50 resort credit. We are already staying at Paris for 7 nights in late August and was wondering if you thought it would be smart to double book this offer? We have been to M but only for an hour maybe. My wife loves to sun and lay around the pool so she would be interested in the pool at M. I like to play live poker and video poker so I would be interested in knowing what you think of those at M. Any suggestions on mid-range restaurants at M?

Thank you in advance for any advise. I also read the offer very carefully and it does not say I need to give them any certain amount of play per day. I will ask them about resort fees if I decide to take the offer.

Poppin: M resort is not an MGM Mirage property so you may want to repost your question under Hotels or the Palms,Boyd,Stations, Others section. You'd be more likely to get pertinent answers.

But, if you wanted to spend some time at M while you are there, why not. Think of it as a mini vacation from your vacation. Maybe just go down one day, eat, pool, play a little, eat a little, and whatever else you can dream up. I think I have read it is a serious cab fare to get down there though.

I would do it if you've rented a car. It's true, it will cost you a hefty cab fare to get there from Paris - I'd guess in the $30-40 range, depending upon traffic.
But it is a lovely property with beautiful rooms. I personally don't mind being away from the exhaustive craziness of the Stip for a couple of days, so it might be a good option if you really want to feel like you're "away" for a day or two.

Oh, and they have some fantastic food choices...the buffet is outstanding and Hash House A Go Go will leave you stuffed for days!
