MGM Executive King vs Grand King

Planning a mid week stay, alone, no car, and wondering if the extra money for the Executive is worth it.
I understand the Exec is 675 sq feet vs 446 sq feet. Both are in the Grand Tower.
Besides the extra space, what is the difference?

I can get a Grand King with the Premier View for the same price as the Executive King.
Which would you choose for a solo trip?

Your experiences and opinions are appreciated.
I don't know anything about MGM, but...

I think a really nice room adds to enjoyment of the trip, solo or with somebody.
View is not that important if I'm solo (don't ask me why this is!).

Roll the dice for the Exec King, request the type of view you want when you check in. "Executive" room (or is it suite?) anywhere is usually superior to other rooms.

Good luck!

Both are nice and roomy. Same beds and linens. Executive has a separate couch area and some have jacuzzi tub. For one guy alone...unless you want a big couch to lounge on and watch tv or something...what's the point? I have gotten upgrades at desk many times by simply asking. I'd save the money and spend it on meal or gambling.
Thanks for the input.

I went back on the M Life site and the base rate for the Exec King suite jumped $48 per night.
With fees and tax that put it at the same price as a Luxury suite in the Augustus Tower at CP.

I guess you have to move fast if you think its a deal.

Executive King used to be called Bungalow Suites.
Larger room but not really a suite.
Although I like MGM better than CP,I think your room will be nicer there.
