Mirage buffet price increase!

Went there yesterday, the last day of our 9 day trip. Expected to pay 19.99 each for lunch. Increase of 3 dollars to 22.99 from the day before, when we stopped by to check the price and hours. It's not that good. We ate there anyway, using points, but it's not as good as Bellagio, which I assume has the same price. The salad section is lame, and the dessert section had no chocolate cake of any kind or cheesecake except for sugar free. They had lots of pineapple upside down cake. Does anyone really eat that?

To answer your question, I sure don't :-)

Bellagio prices are here:

Bellagio Buffet Prices

The Mirage Buffet has been going downhill for years.... interesting (although not surprising) that the prices apparently keep increasing.

Steve
We ate at the Mirage Buffet for dinner last fall and it was outstanding.
We ate there in Jan and Mar and the food was very good.

I completely disagree.

I eat upside down cake and I don't care for the high-brow food at Bellagio. I would choose Mirage over standing in line for an hour at Bellagio any day.

+1
I thought the buffet was really good last November, I haven't tried the Bellagio one. The only buffets I tried were the Mirage and the Planet Hollywood ones, and I prefered the Mirage buffet.
Is this Crave we're talking about??
I very much like Cravings and agree with vegasvp's comment on Bellagio's high-brow selections. Yes, the B has a great buffet, but that kind of food isn't always what somebody is looking for.
