Mirage rooms

We went through Mirage last week going to a show. Casino is worn. Heavy odor of...something...vanilla sugar similar to Mandalay Bay. Some like that aroma. Gives me a headache. Couldn't wait to get outta there.

No comparison with Palazzo.

I took the free room last July and didn't like it. The air conditioning was either too hot or to cold, there was no chair, and the noise from the Strip was annoying (ok, I am sensitive to noise) there are no good breakfast options unless you want to eat at Carnegie Deli. I thought the buffet was mediocre. The exercise room was a waste, the pool is a scramble to find a chair.

If you are ok with the difference in price, Palazzo is the clear choice.
