Mlife : comped in one property but playing in another

I know this question has comes up before, but would like to hear recent experience.

I get comps to Bel and Aria, and the hotels are nice. However, I really want to play at MGM or Monte Carlo. I don't like staying at these two properties.

Question, if I stay at Bel but play heavy at MGM, am I going to lose comps from Bel?

I have asked a host who insists that I must play where I stay. OK, I understand his agenda.
I don't mind working through marketing.

As a side note, CET appears flexible on this.

As long as you stay with a MGM property, should not make a difference. Bob
I just left Aria earlier today and did all my playing there for the last 4 days.
My wife and I sat next to a couple at the Rolling Stones concert who were also staying at Aria.
They told us they usually stay at Aria but do most of their playing at Bellagio and their host at Aria is fine with them playing at any MLife property.
Interesting. I just came back from four comped nights at Aria.
I played 5 hrs at Arai and 20 hrs at Monte Carlo.
Curious to see what happens. At least the MC host came over to say hello and comped dinner at Brandts steakhouse. Can't hate them for that.

Just curious how that turned out.
Did they credit all your MC play toward your Aria stay.
Supposedly they are way more integrated now in terms of credit.
There were no problems at check out.
I did earn a little under 50k in tier credits for that trip.
I just booked free offers for June and July at the Bellagio and Mirage.

I don't see anymore comped room offers on the web site, but I have learned that once you book two
future comped trips, the offers disappear. That has been my experience.

After the July trip I will probably stay on the East Coast until December.
That will be plenty of time to see what comes in, especially entering the slower season.

Hopefully airfares will also come down by then.
I just got a call from the MC host . He did confirm that you can play at any Mlife property.
He said that offers are based on your "property wide play".

Next week I am going to test this. I have four comped nights at the Mirage, but expect to play at other properties. I will let you know how that works out.

BTW: The exact same level of play at the same table games at CET has gotten me nothing.
The TR website shows no offers for a free room anywhere in LV.
They still like me in Atlantic City,( that is not a big accomplishment these days. I know $10 bj players getting free rooms)
I usually stay mostly at MGM properties when Im on the strip. I mostly normally stay comped at Excalibur (I like their VP and often play late late at night and like to be able to stumble back to my room) and concentrate most of my play there. I do play a little bit at NYNY and MGM when I go over there and find that I get Mlife offers from them more frequently now as well. My most recent trip I stayed at MGM and played mostly there but played all around at MGM properties as well. Mlife just wants you to play at their properties and IMO if you play a certain amount at a particular property you will likely receive internet offers more from those properties as it triggers something in their marketing system. I used to recieve offers from MB and Mirage but rarely play there any more and they have dried up. I was contacted by a host at MGM however and will likely be booking through him in the future.

Just curious how your stay at the Mirage worked out.Did they comply with the "property wide"play policy.
I've heard Mirage is tighter with comps even though they are not a top tier property.
We dropped into Mirage and played maybe 20 minutes, quarters. Have been bombarded with offers ever since. The first came to my husband, who has a MGM card but doesn't gamble. Now we both get offers in e-mail and snail mail.

I play plenty at Bellagio, so that's why, I'm sure.
