MLIFE Gold or Platinum

I would like to hear from anyone who made it to Gold Status.
Did your offers change noticeably. I am about 10,000 tier credits away and wondering if it is worth the effort.

Since it is early in the year I will ask the same question for anyone who has made it to platinum.
I am Platinum and it seems like my offers went down with the new MLife system.
im gold and all my offers are 3 comped nights plus varying amounts of freeplay depending om the property. 100-450 so far.
I'm platinum as well (579k tier points) and my offers have noticeably gone down. I would not sweat going from one tier to the next, all it seems to get you is an extra 5% off at the gift shop.

Mlife like all other players club system use the status as basically a line pass. Your offers are ALWAYS going to be based on some type of theo (usually daily). Someone who plays $20K in one day is always going to get better invites back than some who plays $2K over 20 days, even though the coin in is more.

Platinum is the highest level.
Well, they sent me a platinum card with their
opening letter about MLife.

So far, it's about the same as the old system.
I think Express Comps now remains instead of vanishing
after a stay. If that's true, then that's an improvement.

Well, the new card does serve as a line pass at all the hotels.

That means my "forever" line pass at MGM is
now nothing special. LOL

I think it's supposed to speed up your tier level and/or
express comps.

I still just go for the most part by the comps offered up front.

I think my offerings have stayed the same in quality
but gone down in number.

I used to see over 30. Now, it looks like maybe about 15.

Also, the web site looks more confusing than ever.

There's opening comps. Tier level offers. Very confusing.

I'll just stick with the email or snail mail offers. LOL

I was rated as Gold and I noticed my offers went down a little bit... My big concern is the amount of play you have to do to get a point... When I first started playing VPat MGM seriousley it took $3 for a point then about two(2)yrs. ago MGM upped it to $4.50 a point now if you just start out as a new player it is $10 for a point and if I understand for me being a Gold it will be around $7.50 for a point I am feeling my motivation to play at MGM mainly Excaliber and MGM Grand( because of friends Fed O'Malley, hosts Marcy and Chris )is going to be hard to go to the casinos and if I do it will be just to say hello to Marcy and Chris.. If I am incorrect on any of my calculations please correct me and please excuse me for any misspelled ( where is spell check) words... Richard from Ca.
I'm Pearl. Not even to Gold yet.

However, after Ven/Pal..............I have Gold-A-Phobia.

So doubt I will ever strive to be Gold status at MGM. If there's a way to SKIP a Level?
Thats for me. Or I'll just stay Pearl.
Hmmmmm........I'm gold with a grand total of zero offers.
