Mlife tier discount room rates: Gold vs Platinum

I am Gold, and just checked the following rate on the M life web site:

Mirage, deluxe room

2 nights, Nov. 10 & 11 (Thurs and Friday) for one person.

The rate for the two nights on the screen is $375.

If anyone reading this is Platinum, I would like to know what rate you are being quoted for this room.

For comparison, the LVA Hotel deals link gets a quote of $425. So gold status saves $50 off that rate.
I would like to see what platinum gets.

Well, I can't help you with Platinum, but my rate for Pearl is $400.00.

I just checked your dates.I am Platinum and it quoted $247 for Nov.10/11.
I think the tier discount on their website is BS as I got a call from a host last week offering a comp suite whenever I come out.
Try calling a host and asking what they can do for you before booking online.

I think the new MLife system sucks. In the last 7 years I rarely have had to pay for rooms @ MGM properties, even stayed @ Aria 4 different times for 3 nights each time comped in 2010. Since the new system, I'm a gold tier and haven't had any free rooms AT ALL since April of this year. I'm only a gold @ Harrahs and they've given me all sorts of free rooms since MGM cut me off and gold is their LOWEST level. Do only platinum players get comped rooms through MLife?
