You can't just sit on the sold out button. You have to refresh the page constantly from 7 am PST to about 7:15 PST. Both times I redeemed, it happened at 7:12 to 7:13.
Here are some tips that I have gleaned from other boards, or that I thought of myself in this process:
Don't use the twirly thing or the F5 button to refresh the page. Instead, either go pack and forth between "Rewards" and "Games" constantly (not too fast or it will time out).
Or go back and forth between the award description and "resume browsing," which some have had good luck with, but I have not.
Have your e-mail address ready in a copy (ctrl-c) and be ready to paste it (ctrl-v).
When you see (while refreshing) that the awards have become available (Sold out signs go away), immediately go to Bellagio and then click on the award you want.
Enter your name. Then it hops to e-mail address. Press Ctrl-v to paste the e-mail address in. Then it hops to last name. Be prepared for this oddity of first name, then e-mail, then last name.
Then press the Enter or Go button. It will tell you immediately if you are successful. Print it up, or make note of the confirmation number. You will also get an e-mail confirmation.
Do it on a weekday, when most people are at work.
I have read that the lines at Bellagio get long for myvegas redemption at the club desk, so I plan to go early.
I do not know if you have to redeem at the club the same day or if you can go a few days earlier than you intend to eat the buffet.. Anybody know for sure?
I hope this helps - please feel free to add other information here.
