NYNY RFB question

Well, I read the fine print on my offer.

It just said, "Additional complimentaries, above listed offer inclusions, may be awarded based upon
your gaming activity during your stay."

So it looks like I'm good to go.

I also saw they were giving me the usual 2 tickets to any MGM Resorts show
which I'll pass on as usual when I go solo.

I'll take this offer with me just in case.

Something I have been doing since Bellagio gave me a hard time on the promo chips. LOL
Thanks for the further info. I think I'll wait to cancel the rezzie until I have the actual email or snail mail printed offer. Right now I just have the offer online.
A couple more comments....

Although they did (after much "heated" debate honor the offered $300 in F&B (we were under that amount) they did not pick up the resort fees! We had to pay. THAT drove me a bit crazy. And honestly, I hated the suite. The elevators seemed old, dirty, noisy & unreliable (maybe it is in keeping with the NY theme) & the bathroom was very tiny. We didn't actually stay there (double booked) & I was very happy not to. I have absolutely no great urge to stay there in future!

One further note - like you, our Excal offers have deteriorated drastically. Now we get a room & $50 in FP....tah-dah!!! Like that's going to pull me in real quick. As you know - that play got killed a few months ago. Sigh. It was good while it lasted.

PS - I sent you a PM.

THERES the bugaboo.

Fine if they want to check my play for ADDITIONAL comps. Logical.

It's the Comps that are Offered IN the Original Offer.........That's what we want!
NOT the runaround, IF I played or not, to cover the freakin' offer they sent me?

Give me the Offer, or Don't send the offer.
No (fine print) strings attached.
That's what were Expecting..........and what we deserve.

CLV -- have to agree with you 100% again!

Terry -- thanks for the additional info. I really don't want to stay under those conditions, either. And what in the heck IS up with Excalibur? We go from $1000 to $500 free play to these piddly amounts? I just don't get it. Only big free play is going to get me to stay there since it's really not the greatest place around!
The same NYNY offer now shows online for me.

Looks like they're sending EVERYBODY to NYNY. Maybe to jack up the numbers for a good sale price??
In the past they have given me some guff about play at other properties that I have never gotten at any
other MGM property. I have been playing at Aria and for some reason NYNY didn't seem to like that and we
had to go round and round to get them to comp stuff that I have never had at other MGM properties. So be
aware that they more than any other MGM place I stay seem to want you to play there and only count other
places if you make them.

Hey, I don't like the sound of this!!!

Well, I suppose I could double book just in case. However, I hate doing that.
I guess I'll give them another call and ask them the scenario, "Will I have a problem with you guys
if I stay at NYNY but do my gambling across the bridge at MGM?"

Then I'll add, "You know I'm passing up offers from Aria, Bellagio, Mirage, et al. for you guys." LOL

I guess if the accommodations are poor I'll call downstairs and ask for a change. LOL

Monte Carlo is offering me Hotel 32. Hey, this offer does come with a limo!!! LOL

The problem is I don't care for Monte Carlo a whole bunch. LOL

Well, I think I'll call NYNY right now and ask about this stuff.

These people never lie, right?

OK. I just got off the phone with them and the lady said, "We have no problems with you staying
with us but doing all your gambling at another MGM/Mirage property."

So we shall see.

BTW, I asked her which tower was closest to check-in and she said, "The Century Tower."

I asked because I like to exit places fast. LOL

Good luck, Jerry!
Yes! Good luck, Jerry! Let us know how it turns out.

I cannot recall which tower we were in but it definitely was not close to check in. Although it did seem like "Century" would have been an appropriate name.....
