NYNY...sigh....

By the way, I don't think I addressed this in my earlier post. I did stay in a players suite which was nice, albeit, somewhat dated.

But for the ladies out there - the bathroom was absolutely tiny, which didn't bother me, but I know for others this may be a big deal.

With MGM there is no such thing as free. I had similar experience a couple of years ago as well as last year. At least now I know how they operate. They only had to do it to me twice! Now I stick with CET as I always know where I stand.
The offer I received from Aria said in the fine print that the offer may be based on certain level of express comp earnings and redemption expectatons and that components of the offer may change based on current levels of play.
Sneaky.
The offer I just got from Aria reads: "The Offer is based on your previous M life Players Club gaming activity. Additional complimentaries may be awarded based upon your gaming activity during your stay."

I think it's vital that everyone read the fine print now and NOT take offers with wording they don't feel comfortable with. That's why I wouldn't take the NYNY offer, but I'll certainly take this Aria offer!

This seems to a NYNY thing vs the other MGM properties. RFL has always been know to include all good and drink, but not the higher end restaurants. RFB was always know to include all good, drink, even high end dining. And, in the case of Bellagio at least, even the mini-bar was included.

If not RFL or RFB, sometimes they will say $100 daily food credit, or something like that. But, NYNY seems to be an exception. After seeing this happen more than once, we will NOT be returning there. Too many other options that are upfront with what they will OFFER.
Hmmm NyNy is the one MGM casino thats been sending me the best offers but I dont like playing there much if at all. I usually only drop a 20 or 2 walking through to ride the roller coaster or heading to the john. I think Ill keep it that way after what I have just read.

That's been my experience.

No problems with the others except one time
Bellagio did not honor their chip agreement.

However, they made up for it on my next visit
at Aria.

NYNY just would not honor their offer to me
even though I presented them with a copy of it.

I just took the escalator up and over the bridge to MGM. No problems there even though I came in without a reservation.

Just like Mare, I will never darken NYNY's door again.

I too am done with NYNY and also any of the other MGM properties that add in the resort fee. From my experiences this adds Excal, Luxor, Mirage and Monte Carlo to the list that includes NYNY. I think I've only not been charged the fee at MGM and MB on a comped room.

Well, so far I have not been charged a resort fee at any of them.

However, I have only stayed recently ( last year or so) at Bellagio, Aria, and MGM.

I just wish these hotels would quit nickel and
diming people.
Mirage hasn't charged me the resort fee on my recent comped stays.
