Platinum vs Gold

If I reach Platinum will I get any better offers than I get presently at Gold tier?

I am sorry, I should have explained my question better. I read up on the benefits. I was just wondering if Platinum would get any more comped nights offered. than I already get being gold.

I had Platinum for 2 years and if anything I found I got fewer offers than Gold.
Only benefit to me was front of the taxi line. I went back to Gold last year and
my offers picked up again.

Do you intend to earn platinum mostly by gaming or non-gaming activities (such as hotel stays or restaurant visits)? Merely my thoughts, I suspect a player that earns Platinum mostly by gaming will get better offers.

It will be 99% by gaming, so hopefully this will be reflected in my offers.

I earned mine entirely by gaming - slots and minimal video poker.

I have been both and am currently gold. the offers are about the same, I just email my host and get better offers than whats mailed to me.

I have never been assigned a host or had one contact me at either the Platinum or Gold level.
The most I get is the occasional 2-3 weekday nights at the Bellagio or the Aria, generally only 2 nights, with
some low free play or resort credit. I have tried to add on an extra night and get quoted a really
high price.

I am a low level Diamond at Caesar's and I can get 5 nights at any of their hotels, including weekends,
and including Caesar's and Cromwell, any time I want by just calling in. I also get offers for tournaments,
gift promotions, shows, including Celine Dionne and Elton John, at least once a week.

your offers will be based mostly off of the play that you give them, not your gold or platinum status. and if you are gold or platinum, I would suggest getting to know a host. you can often get a lot of extras from them just for the asking. asking, not begging that is. as you certainly can over do it.
