Pretty disgusted with Mlife

Ever since MGM revamped its players club to Mlife I've received less and less offers.

At gold level one would think they'd at least post a Christmas card on their website! And since they made yet another "improvement" to the site, I can no longer see my points nor does the offer I recently received via snail mail from Bellagio with an offer of 3 comp nights and free play. It forces me to wonder what other offers are out there that the site doesn't show.

In addition, my upcoming stay at MGM Grand doesn't show at all when I click on "My Itinerary."

I've been pretty loyal to the MGM properties and for the most part, (99% most part) I play in their casinos. I don't belong to CE's players club, but I'm thinking it may be time to start a new membership and a new relationship.

Mlife totally blows now.
We have been loyal for over 8 years - but we are done now.
With reduced offers and resort fees - they can keep it. We will be downtown from now on, where we are still appreciated.

I can't figure out why, as a gold member, I've got zero comped rooms, while my friend, who is pearl, routinely gets three comped nights at Aria with $150 food credit - and she played there once for 15 minutes, while I spent hours there my last trip in December.
Seems totally random and, well, annoying!
I agree that the new system and web site is a mess.

At TR you can pull up a calender for the time period that you are interested in and see all of you offers and compare. At MLIFE you must call each property and ask, you will then find offers you have not been notified of. It is a hassle to to make eight calls, take notes, compare then make another call to book. They seem to not give you any new offers after you book. MLIFE must believe that we do not plan our future trips until we complete our upcoming one.

I agree totally.I am Platinum with Mlife and Diamond with Harrahs and have decided to ditch MGM completely and go 100 % Total Rewards this year.It is so much easier to use and they seem to reward you system wide no matter where you earned points.I live in Detroit but cannot ever get a comped room at MGM Detroit either by online or by phone. Harrahs comped me 3 nights in New Orleans during Final 4 week!Did it online and have never been there before. Can't figure MGM out and will quit trying.
I am also an MLife platinum and a Diamond at CET.
I agree the MLife website is a joke and the offers have been significantly curtailed.

That being said,I am NOT ditching MLife.
I was a Diamond at Harrahs before switching to MGM properties. The reason I moved was my table game play was not really rewarded by CET.
Without question I have been treated better by MGM properties than any of the CET properties in Las Vegas.
It is not even close!
The other factor is I like their properties and they have the best entertainment.
So I'll look for offers and if I don't see one I'll call a host.
My experience is very similar to JMDLV1.
I have given up on CET. My table play at CET has been getting me mid week room offers at the lowest properties. The same play at MLife has been getting me free rooms at BEL, Arria, Mirage , and MGM.

The explaination is simple. I do not play slots or any type of machine.
Since I play 90 % VP/slots it seem that our brief analysis maybe shows that CET better for machines but MGM better for tables? Anyone else out there have same type experiences?
I agree. I play only slots and since I returned on a freebie slot tournament to Caesars last year, I continue to receive offers, separate from my monthly CET offers, for free Caesars rooms. Thanks to someone on the boards' advice, I concentrate my play only at Caesars, not at any of the other CET properties. I think that is why, even though I am a low roller, that they continue to comp me.
now you got me thinking. i'm coming out 3-26 staying at PH for three nights with two of the same
nights booked at the M -- where i really, really want to stay for at least a night but do
I trust myself to be a good boy, but i love their restaurants, rooms, sushi bar, pool, beer bar, vp gambling since i've
had luck there -- but my friends don't have rooms so we'll only gamble and have four free buffets.

back on track. my initial plan was to gamble at HET one day, M one day(sigh) but then head to
Bellagio to try to get on their radar. this is a magnificent hotel. this post makes me wonder if i
should just stay with the evil empire or expand my horizons to mlife. i usually play vp but will
play bj and craps if i have to.

wife and i were at a tavern st. pat's day at 6am for breakfast. i don't recommend it.
