Resort fees on Comp stay

We received 3 comped nights at MGM. When We booked it they said we would have to pay a resort fee, so we told them to stuff it and went downtown instead.

Just to let you know The Aria don't charge a resort fee on comped rooms. We stayed in May and when I asked they said "we don't charge a resort fee on comped rooms"

I just got back from Mandalay Bay on Saturday. Weds and Thurs were comped with no resort fees. I was pleasantly surprised. Fully expected to pay for them.

I just made ressies for TheHotel in Nov. 2 weekend nights are comped, paying $59 ea for Sun. and Mon. Those 2 night have resort fees.

Count on being charged the resort fee all four nights, unfortunately.

Hope not, but that's the way Wynn does it. Paid for one night, two comped. Resort fee (and the high taxes on the resort fee) charged for all three nights. No amount of arguing would change it.

I've stayed at the Mirage several times and when they comp me they pick up the resort fee as well. So free = free. No room tax either.

I was charged a resort fee on a comped room at Hotel32 a couple years ago.

No resort fees on comped room at Green Valley Ranch as well as Mandalay Bay and Treasure Island. On the Treasure Island stay they wanted to "offer" me the resort fee which would include the spa. When I asked about taking a steam bath at the Spa I was told that would be an additional $17. I passed. I always bring my hot spot router for my computer so I don't use resort internet. My hot spot from AT&T is actually quicker anyway just takes a minute to hook up.

Just comped at Bellagio, no resort fee. I didn't mention it and they didn't either. No charge for Internet.
