rooms @ Monte Carlo

We (Diamond) have always been CET poeple but have been offer "2 free nights" @ Monte Carlo. How do the rooms compare? more like Harrah's or the IP? Is there a floor or part of the hotel you don't want to stay in? How's the food? Pool?
Thanks for your replies and time.
It has been several years since I stayed there but the rooms reminded me very much of a standard Holiday Inn room. My guess is that it is better than IP. The pool was mostly in the shade due to the placement of the building but this is likely only this way in spring and fall. We were there in late March and I was surprised at how little direct sun hit the pool area. As I recall they had a pretty good micro-brewery but it's been too long to comment.
The rooms are nothing special, but clean and decent beds. The pool complex is nice but crowded. the have a lazy river thats nice to float around.
3 years ago...Holiday Inn!

Better than IP but "Holiday Inn" is pretty close.
Walls are thin,bathrooms small,windows small.
Obviously not my favorite!
Don't get a room near the elevators. Very noisy.
Only stay there if you want that location and its cheap or comped.

IMHO it is better than IP or Harrahs.
The casino, restaurants, and pool area are not bad.

They are liberal on comps. I also liked the walkway to Aria and access to the tram.

I thought the micro brewery was overpriced. I was on a business trip and everyone else loved it.
They were on expense accounts, I wasn't.
