What happens if you have to leave & don't play.........

Had a very short, nice vist with Noahcat this past weekend in Vegas.........but after I checked into Aria
for 3 nite comp stay..........came down with bad bug, and Took the next flight out of there.
Housekeeping cleaned my room & Noahcat was able to move over to Aria, and take the room,
while I flew home.

So, I basically gave Aria only 30 mins of play for my 3 night comp stay.
Nothing like I would normally do.
I'm considered Plat. But, currently only have about 18k in points, and No exp. comps, they were erased. grrrrr

Glad to say I'm starting to feel better, but, now I'm wondering, will MLife ever Comp me again?
I have had similar situations a few times. Last December (2011) this happened at Aria, and after that when I called to take advantage of a comp offer, they told me I had none coming to me.
I don't have a host and deal with marketing. I explained the situation, and it didn't help.
On my next visit to LV I stopped in to Aria, gave them four hours of solid play, and all was back on track with the comps. Same thing happened at Mirage. Venetian was ok with it the first time but that was in the good old days.

BTW I have a different question . Please see my pm.

Your Express Comps were erased??? Double grrrr!

Yikes! Now I'm afraid to check my account. I hope this was just a year-end glitch that gets fixed.

Sorry you got sick, CLV, and glad you are on the mend.

You'll be OK once you give them some CLV quality play time again.
Thanks Profbac & Candy for the replies. So I will probably get the short end of the comp-stick for
awhile I see.........Oh well. Couldn't be helped. Got home in time to start running temp for a few days.
Once temp went away, began to feel human again. I actually managed to get out of pj's yesterday. lol

Anyway, if MGM hates me for awhile, Got other irons in the fire..........

Candy- Erased or expired? I think Exp. comps are good for about 28 mins. aren't they?
I'm still pretty new to Mlife game. Was surprised to see my points are ZERO after Oct. 1.
Exp. comps were zero too. Thanks Mlife.

Seems to me Stations does that now too, right?

Hi CLV. You are right, mLife tier points now all expire October 1 of every year, their "new and better" system, "easier to understand."

My Express Comps are still there, and my Point Play points, but doesn't tell how often I have to play to keep them. Used to be 18 months for the Point Play.

Sounds like you had a flu drive-by. So sorry but glad you feel better.
My points were also all erased.
I won't be back.

That was my reaction, but then it dawned on me that this is equivalent to CET erasing all tier points on January 1 every year. I think mLife's issue was that they were carrying over tier points indefinitely when they started the program. Maybe intentional to get us hooked into. It was good while it lasted.

Don't know why they picked October 1 instead of January 1, and I haven't decided just how bad or good that is for us, but it feels like it ain't that good.
Similar situation happened to me a few years ago when I stayed at the RIO.
I was there for NYE and got sick the second day and did not leave my room for a couple days.
So I short played them Big Time on that trip.
I explained it to my host who said he understood and was OK with it.
My offers got a little leaner after that.

I am probably outside the norm on this one but I don't usually worry about offers that arrive on the website, email,or snail mail.
If I get one and and want to stay there I use it.
If I want to stay at a property and they don't give me RFL or RFB upfront,I don't usually let that be a reason I don't go there.
I figure I will play my normal stakes and get my comps after a couple days there.
When I switched form CET properties, as a diamond, to MGM they would not comp me upfront.
I made my reservation on the website at retail rates and talked to a host after a couple days when I was there.
Surprise,I eneded up being comped at a better rate than I would have been at Caesars.
Not trying to hijack the thread but my point is a short play stay may reduce offers but you should be fine going and playing at the rate that generated your offer.
