Anyone notice the huge difference in points for 2 buffets

There are charging almost 4 times as many points for 2 buffets as they do for 1 buffet. As an example, Aria's single lunch buffet needs 19,500 points. Two lunch buffets needs 78,000 points. Single dinner buffet requires 39,000 points and 2 dinner buffets needs 156,000 points. That's just crazy.
I noticed that too. I wonder if they think that one is offered cheaper in hopes that it will be more like a buy one get one free if the other person doesn't have one?
When you only have 3 rewards per trip, a lot of people don't want to burn 2 picks on a buffet (if travelling with a significant other). That being said, the premium is way too high in my opinion. I believe the Bellagio buffet has a huge markup for a 2 dinner buffet (280,000 points)
Also, pay attention to see if they are lunch or dinner buffets. I noticed that is a huge difference in price as well.

The huge difference in required points for dinner and lunch buffets almost makes sense as oftentimes the dinner pricing is twice that for lunch

Single lunches at the better places (Bellagio, Aria, Mirage) go from 17,000 to 21,500 while dinners go from about 34,000 to 42,000

When you only have 3 rewards per trip,

My next trip I was planning on seeing "O" and KA,
and also visiting Shark Reef and eating at the Mandalay Buffet. That's 4 rewards.

However, if what you're saying is true, it looks like one of those would be out.
I'd be really upset if I saw KA, then Shark Reef and ate at the buffet, then the next night went to "O",
was told I couldn't use my "comp" because I've already used 3 rewards (even after I used my gold coins to pay for it).

Can someone here please clarify exactly how this "3 rewards per trip" works,
and how MLife knows it's the same trip ?

THANKS SO MUCH, Rick
Select any reward and go to the second page for more information. Under "Purchase and Redemption" it will tell you there how many rewards you're entitled to. For most people, the limit is 3 within a rolling 30-day period. If you've purchased larger chip packages you may be entitled to more rewards - it will say how many.
Some rewards don't count against your limit (House of Blues, Monorail, Sugar Factory, Puck).

Also Rick make sure to book your shows ahead of time for better seats. You can book 90days out for show tickets. If you "purchase" 4 items it will tell you that you have bought more than your limit and you have to click that you aware of that. Podemski is correct the partner ones don't count against your limit but once you purchase those you can not return them so make sure they are something you are going to use positively on that trip .

It's a great free game but I find not worth buying this trip.
Thanks Siwst852 ...... for the good information.

The 2 person buffets are crazy ,but if you look at a different way. I'm going in march. We both can get 3 rewards. If we each use say a dinner buff. at Aria that would leave us 2 each. If I get the 2 person one myself,I'll have 2 left and she'll still have 3 left. It will afford you the opportunity to get more rewards. Of course the more points you have and depending upon how many times you go all have to be considered.
It might work for me as I only go once a year and I currently have 667,000 pts and my wife has 315,000 pts.
