Are the "Buy Down" rates good on all types of rooms.

Can the "Buy Down Your Rate"rewards be used on more than just standard rooms?

Maybe since I haven't gotten any responses to my question perhaps I was wrong when I referred to the reward as a buy down rate. I'm referring to the myvegas reward that gets you a percentage off in exchange for myvegas credits.

I'm not sure, but when I turned in rewards for free rooms it was only on the lower tier rooms.

I found out, at least at Luxor the discounted rates are only for the bottom level rooms or as the agent corrected me' they are for "their most economical rooms"
