Just as Gr8gregor said. I booked the Beau with a regular and a bonus comp. The bonus comp was significantly less LPs. Using both is nice because you can't by more than one reward so this allows you to stay 2 nights. You can also combine it with weekend and bonus weekend for a total of 4 nights. I hope this clarifies for you.
Bonus comp is less Lps and you can usually use more then one.The reason being is there is far less availability for bonus nights. Make sure you check the availability calendar.If your dates are at all flexible,It's a great way to start.
We just booked a bonus comp night at Mandalay Bay and the receptionist indicated we would have to pay the resort fee (expected) and she also indicated that if we were to cancel the reservation, we could not get the MyVegas points back into our account - just a heads up on this one.
