Can I redeem a dinner buffet for lunch?

I have a free dinner buffet at MGM and so does my dad. We want to use it for lunch for three people. Do you know if they load the value of the dinner on the card and between the two dinner costs, i might be able to get three lunches? Or do they give you a certificate for a free dinner? I know that Mirage loads the value on the card. Thanks.

They will allow you to use it for lunch. Whether you can get two lunches for it because the cost is significantly less....doubtful because you requested the dinner buffet. Might be a better proposition to have the diner buffet points refunded and put them towards a lunch buffet plus a BOGO lunch. Although that would use two of your rewards.

I do know that if you choose a lunch buffet and eventually get the dinner you are charged the price difference at the buffet entrance.

Always worth asking either at the buffet cashier, or at a box office or Mlife station where MyVegas rewards ultimately get issued. They're generally flexible because these are comps and they want your business - but there's no guarantee they'll swap.
