My Vegas Mirage Buffet BOGO

I always redeem the BOGO Breakfast Buffet Reward on My Vegas for use on our trips
to the Mirage. Since we're comped a certain amount -- it helps us "stretch" our comp dollars a bit more. This last trip--2 weeks ago when using the BOGO Breakfast Buffet Reward--we weren't allowed to use the reward AND charge it to our room! Bummer! If we wanted to use it we had to "pay" for one of the breakfasts! Yikes!
Just an FYI

So you should have saved your points and used your LVA coupon. They love to change there policies but how do you know?

The story from my point is getting worse. I have two free lunches and am staying Downtown. So to valet park and eat my free lunch it's now $13.

just used my coupon a few days ago. Lunch was really good and we were there late enough for them to pull out the crab legs

Best play on any buffet is to arrive shortly before the changeover. Pay for (or get lover MyVegas price) for breakfast/lunch and then enjoy lunch/dinner

Just returned from Vegas and redeemed four 2 for 1 buffets (2 of us play myVegas). The first 3, dinner at Mirage, breakfast at Bellagio, then dinner at Bellagio, we charged the 2nd one to the room without any problem. The 4th one, breakfast at Mirage, we were told about the new policy and not being able to charge to the room. We were obviously confused and explained that we had already charged 3 to the room without question. She admitted she didn't know the Bellagio's policy, but the Mirage policy has been in place for a few months now and someone will probably get in trouble for charging the first dinner to our room.

However, she's was correct in telling us people were charging the 2nd meal to their room which had a resort credit thus getting 2 buffet's for free, and yes, we fit that description. We were using our resort credit and express comps to cover the cost of the 2nd buffet. Throw in charging for parking, and they really beginning to nickel and dime us.
