Redeeming Awards For Another Person

I plan on using a Bellagio buffet award in August which will be my first experience with using an award. This will be for my usage only but I do have a question regarding the possibility of sharing awards. For example, I would like to use the Shark Reef and the Roller Coaster as examples. If I go to the MLife desk to redeem the award, is it possible to give them to someone else to use? Specifically, I would like to claim those two awards and give them to my niece and her husband to use for themselves. Other than the Mlife redemption desk, do they verify your ID at the time you are actually using the reward?

I never had to show an ID again, once I obtained the award from the Mlife desk.

I have one more question and then I'll shut up. When you go to the Mlife desk to claim the reward, how long do you have to use it? For example, if I picked up a reward on a Tuesday would I be able to return on a Thursday of that same week to actually use it?

I am aware of the three reward limit in a 30 day period.

I think it varies but, when we were out last September, we had purchased the pitcher of beer at Skybox at Aria. It had to be used within 24 hrs.

The rewards do seem to vary as far as how long you have to use them once you get the voucher from the MLife desk. The restaurants we didn't have to show our ID with the voucher but it seemed like buffets we did. I haven't used them for anything but restaurants, shows, and rooms.

Ok, just did the shark reef exactly as you described. Here is what is you need to do:

1. YOU must go to Mlife and get the comp (with ID)
2. YOU must go to shark reef and get the tickets (with ID)
3. Anyone can then use the tickets for whatever day you got them for (today, tomorrow etc).

Thanks! That would be nice if I can get the tickets to be used a day or two later but it's not a big problem if I have to redeem those tickets and the roller coaster to be used the same day.

reports are now they are putting awards directly on the players card instead of writing out physical vouchers. This may make sharing more difficult.
