Rewards removed from wallet

Has anyone else had a preciously purchased Free 2 Buffet reward for Palace Station removed from their wallet and the gold refunded to their account without any notification?

I ate there once about 15-20 years ago and it was mediocre ... but for free I thought I'd give it a shot ... now after purchasing a reward its been deleted from my account. Just doesn't seem right.
MyVegas sent out an email indicating that due to an error "some" customers were able to purchase multiple rewards .... so they had to cancel my reward. Odd that they wouldn't honor a valid purchase of one reward and cancelled everyone's.
Yes we also had purchased the Palace Station reward. I found it odd that they removed it all together from the items list. It made me wonder if they just didn't want to honor them and they decided to handle it this way. Otherwise if some people really purchased multiple, they should have just told those that purchased multiple they were only allowed one.

If the buffet reward fiasco wasn't sufficient .... I just tried to book my free night reward at Palace Station today (Nov. 30) for late December .... was told "no blackout dates but myVegas reward nights were not available the entire month of December" and when asked about January was told the calendar did not extended into January. WHY RUN PROMOTIONS THAT DO NOTHING BUT IRRITATE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS?
My thought is that Stations Casinos is ending it's affiliation with MyVegas or significantly changing it. I purchased a reward last week for our upcoming December trip and it says in the original rules you have to use it within 90 days, but then the rules on the official sheet says it must be used by 12/31 or 1/1/16 I believe. I have a feeling things are changing with them soon.
Slags68, you might be right. I'm not seeing any complimentary nights for GVR or Red Rock.
Strange things happening indeed. Let's see what comes of it all.
