11/14 cbb

11/14 cbb A slightly less horrific day than Friday but 3 bad beats with New Mexico, UC Davis and CS Fullerton was worst (+10 and tied with 3 min left and Hawaii closes on a 14-0 run). 714 St. Bonaventure (-6) UALR won at SMU b/c SMU shot 27% from the floor. Now they have a tough travel spot with only one day in between. Olean is a tough place to get to and you get a Bonnies club that just lost to upstate rival Canisius. Bonnies were 14-21 FT and Canisius was 24-35. There's your ballgame.
719/720 Wright St/Indiana OV 134' Indiana shot 14-28 from 3-pt on Friday night against FGCU. They won't shoot that again here, but their ball movement and spacing was much better. This IU team is improving. One thing this IU team doesn't do well is defend the interior. They committed 27 fouls on Friday and FGCU shot 34 FT. Wright St, who is efficient offensively, will get fouled a lot here. They also committed 23 turnovers which will lead to some runouts.
737 Northern Arizona (+9') (-105) NAU took 8 at Iowa St and lost and only get 9.5 at Creighton? Creighton is definitely 1.5 better than Iowa St. NAU was tight in first game. Iowa St hit 11 3's (6 by Vanderbeken). That was the difference. Creighton only won by 14 (led by 3 at half) over Alabama St. Creighton was 24-28 from the FT line and Alabama St was 0-4 from the FT. That won them the ball game.
719 Wright St (+7') IU is improved, but they still have a ways to go especially down low. Their JUCO 7-3 big center Guy Marc-Michel is ineligible right now. Both Hoosier forwards (Derek Elston and Tom Pritchard) fouled out Friday night. Wright St also has a couple Indiana boys (namely best player Vaughn Duggins) who are excited to get a shot at IU.

717/718 Princeton/Duke UN 65' 1st H 721 Bryant (+20) 721/722 Bryant/Iona UN 131'
730 Denver (-3) (-103) Denver has been beaten by DD twice in this BTI Invitational and yet they are favored? N Dakota St takes Oregon to OT and beats UCSB as 8-pt dog. Hmmm. 731 UCSB (+3) 735 FAU (+7') Portland shot 65% against UC Davis. Their next game is in the Rose Garden against Kentucky. FAU has won first two games and they have the motivational edge. Playing against Portland shooting the lights out again.
751 South Dakota St (+11) 751/752 South Dakota St/Iowa UN 144 Iowa will run more this year, but it takes a while to get used to. Going against steam on the total.
Shooter, I don't understand your logic for Denver.
Shooter, I don't understand your logic for Denver.
I was saying that Denver has lost both games by DD yet they are favored against a team that beat UCSB (the fav to win the Big West) and took Oregon to OT on their own home floor. Most of the picks or bets are on N Dakota St and not on Denver yet line moved up for Denver. Hopefully you follow what I'm saying.
4-3 today. 4-0 on sides including two double digit dogs that won outright. 0-3 on totals. I'm just going to take every over known to man from now on. I am going to make believers out of everyone on this forum if it's the last thing I do. I know I have good stuff but the lines are as tight as I can remember early in the season. It's almost like you have to get the opener or you don't win.
