2010 wnba allstar game [B]USA/WNBA ALLSTARS UNDER 214.5[/B]
It seems as if almost everyone is playing this game over the total. A lot of that has to do with last years game in which the West won 130-118. Well this years format is completely different with USA national team playing the WNBA allstars. Team USA has several girls in camp all fighting for a spot on the team. Coach Auriemma has stated that since there is so little time to prepare for the world championships that this weekend is very important. I believe that the Team USA side will be giving a lot more effort and will actually play some defense in this game. Also you look at UConn in the WNCAA and they were not the run and gun teams like UNC or Oregon. They scored a ton of points because they were so efficient on the offensive end. If you look at the recent history of Team USA in interantional hoops. They have not had any games come close to even 200 total points and they played some teams like Russia and Australia which had several WNBA players on those teams. The fans got to vote for the WNBA allstars and selected four players from San Antonio (would have been five if Holdsclaw were not a write in candidate). So we got a few players really not deserving to be there. The WNBA allstars will have three players that will sit out the game Jackson, Hammon and Lyttle. Lindsey Whalen has been selected as a late replacement who is have her worst season ever.
