2012-12 College Basketball

542 Wisconsin Milwaukee +10
550 san diego +9.5 Might be able to still get 10 here. I do think this could move back to 10 or more by gametime but I have played it at this.
Curious on your thoughts on this play? If you have time...TIA
I will admit many obvious things favor the gauchos in this match up and there is little reason to believe SD can compete in this game. This is a big situational play for me, UCSB has been off since November 30 and this is their first road game of the season. It is also the beginning of a stretch of 4 road games in 9 days where they will play Washington, Cal, and BYU. Even though this starting group for UCSB is a senior group I still believe motivation and the natural look ahead can come into play when they are playing an inferior out of conference opponent on the road. I also like the progression of SD young gaurds Dee and Anderson, although undersized have been playing well and seem to be getting more comfortable. I think Bill Grier is a better coach than recruiter, but he usually has his teams ready to play especially at home. They played with SD State for over a half and came out strong but were cold and out matched in the second half. I just thought 9.5 was too many. But who knows, they could lose by 40. Also I believe they still "bus" to this game from Santa Barbara to San Diego leaving today. Probably has little impact on their play but driving from Santa Barbara to San Diego could take 5-6 hours (i don't care what google maps says you always hit traffic in Oceanside) and I think that could play a bit of a factor.

Today 2-0 12/12/11 1-0 103-66-3 YTD (3-2 2 unit plays)
753 iona -1.5 2 unit play Like the early start for iona. Richmond will get caught up playing ionas game.
Nice call here. By tip off, line went to -3.
2759 2H Denver -4 Thinking Denver will improve dramatically on their shooting. Statistically they could easily be down by much more.
762 UCLA -8.5 Been waiting for this to come back to under 9. Knowing that UCLA could be without a couple players and much talk about them using recently using more zone, I just am not a believer in a team that relies so much on one player for offense. I am not very familiar with Chiverton the JC transfer but he takes about 25% of the teams FG's and has not really performed that well against the better teams. UCLA should turn him into a volume shooter. UCLA coming along I feel, poised for a big win. We will see.
