722 Florida -5.5 729 Santa Clara +12 739 Northern Kentucky +14 (2 unit play) NOTE: I am not going to pretend that I know much of anything about the Northern Kentucky Norse, first year in Div. 1 for the program. I actually do like the returners for this USD team, but at this number I am going to play the relatively unknown underdog. In my brief research for Northern Kentucky Norse it seems they have been fairly successful at the Div. 2 level and have starting G's returning along with a talented and long player in the front court. They are also taking on a good level of competition on their non-conference schedule, which I like. USD style should allow for some free style play in their first real game, I think the +14 should be more than enough.

528 Umass -8 Obviously missed the numbers, but I think that the pace and press of UMass and the lack of depth for the friars will be problematic going against this UMass team that I thought looked good against an under rated Harvard team.

1546 1H NORTHERN KENTUCY +3.5 (2 unit play) 546 NORTHERN KENTUCY +6.5 Line dropped as the 14 point N.Kent dog let one get away against San Diego, losing by 4 in a game that looks like they should have won. Statistically surprised Northern Kent was not blown out as they were out rebounded, shot 6-23 from three, shot 22 less FT, and committed 9 more fouls (probably most of them late). Tulsa appears to be a program on the rise with some talent coming in, but still very very young. Should be close throughout.

563 WEBER STATE -3 So this line does scare me a bit as I have to believe Weber State going to get most of the public play here against a relatively unknown opponent. San Jose St does have a talented back court returning including probably the best unknown player in the WAC in James Kinney. Weber State probably not going to have the same success after losing D.Lilliard, as you can not replace a player like that. I do like who they have coming back and get the addition of transfer Berry. This team should be hungry during the regular season as they felt they missed out on a deserving tourney spot last year. I am not going to try and out think this one and go with the better team at a number I can live with.
