# 501 miami heat +2 i was prepared to lay a point with miami in this spot so catching +2 here is a great price and my best bet for friday...there is no hotter team in the eastern conference right now than this miami team winning 6 in a row and playing with a ton of confidence...a few weeks back they sat on the outside looking in for the playoff chase and have shot to a half game out of the 5 seed and for a team that is 41-34 the fact they have a winning road record is remarkable...while i understand the pacers have had an uptick in their play as of late 3 of those recent wins were vs teams a combined 86 games under .500(kings,wizards and pistons)...3 teams that do not defend...at the end of the day this is a pacers team 19 games below .500 laying chalk vs the hottest team in the conference...another angle i like and have touched on in the past is when one of the league's select group of superstars is off a bad performance(i.e. lebron,kobe,wade,etc)and next time out his team is an underdog...dwyane wade fits the bill tonight as despite the blowout win in detroit 2 nights ago he had an off night with just 10 points and 1 assist so we know we are getting bounce from him vs an opponent he has dominated this season as have the heat...miami is off the charts defensively in this winning streak and it's not the type of game indiana wants to be involved in...heat are 3-0 in this series this year with 3 double digit wins and i'm just not sure about indiana coming the favorite here...april and may is all about defending the basketball in the nba and i've got the FAR FAR superior team in that aspect...miami is a bad matchup for this pacers team and i will gladly take points...# 501 MIAMI HEAT +2 is a play...good luck gentlemen
