# 512 alabama +2.5. this is a terrible spot for the vols tonight...tennessee is off a 4 game homestand and a very emotional one at that.players getting suspended and being kicked off the team and in spite of that they go 4-0 including an upset over then #1 kansas and then finishing it saturday with an ot victory over mississippi.they just wrapped up 3 games in 7 nights and now go on the road for the 1st time in january!....bruce pearl after saturday's win "we are tired,we have expended a great deal of energy these last 3 games and this homestand is a very memorable one for our program".this team has played just 2 true road games and took an ass beating at usc in 1 of them...bama comes in losers of last 2 and last home game was a tough 1 pt loss to vandy.coach anthony grant was very displeased in team's effort in 2nd half saturday at arkansas...great bounce back spot on national tv at home vs an admittedly drained opponent reveling in their latest homestand....vols walk into a hornet's nest tonight.
