# 528 st.louis +1.5 game 2 of this best of 3 cbi tournament comes back to chaifetz arena in st.loius and the billikens +1.5 is the right side here...game 1 was monday night in richmond,virginia and taken by vcu 68-56 on a home floor where they came in 17-1 on the season so not much of a surprise there...now we come back to st louis where the home team is an equally impressive 18-3 on the year and it's a place where they've shown tremendous defensive ability...in these 21 home games st louis is giving up an average of 57.5 ppg!...in looking at the first game both teams had 56 fga,vcu only made 1 more 3 point fg and st louis won the rebounding battle 30-28 so you ask how was this a 12 point game?...simply put vcu had 14 free throw attempts to 2 for st.louis and the billikens turned it over more than the rams...2 stats that should reverse with the change in venue and the obvious desire for this tournament to have a deciding game 3 on friday night...this is the 3rd year of this tourney and in the previous 2 the team that fell behind 1 game to none promptly evened the series next time out and forced a winner take all scenario...and with this year being the first time with a tv deal with hdnet everybody wins with a 3rd game...in the last 7 weeks vcu has 1 true road win which isn't good when you are road chalk in a venue that has been a nightmare for opponents all season...billikens on the flip side have just 2 losses here in the last 3+ months and both to ncaa tourney teams(by 2 to xavier and by 6 to temple)...rick majerus has done a great job with this club and he was pissed off after monday's loss..."we got our butts kicked,we didn't match their intensity at all"...imo his club responds tonight on a tough home floor and sends this thing to friday night...# 528 ST.LOUIS +1.5 is a play...good luck gentlemen
