IF all this wasn't enough, he hits 90% ATS from the line, so his 4 for 4.5 ft will be replaced by a 3 for 4.5 effort, costing his team a full point just in that one area, EVEN IF HIS REPLACEMENT MATCHES HIS PROWESS......no way. The math says this Hummel Hummer is worth a good TD to Purdue. And the evidence supports it, Purdue barely held on to a 10 point lead to win by 1 @ minny when he was hurt, then got spanked by Sparta at home, scoring only 44 in the game they should have gone allout for to make up for his loss, outrebounded by 16-44 THEN on Sr. Night/final home game night they got to destroy a terrible Indiana team, but still didn't cover largely due to being outrebounded severely. PSU. BIG. Upset Coming. Also, good correlated parlay PSU to under here as well. The bonus is that the Nit Lions WERE donkey all year long, but suddenly are playing at an NIT club level, specifically but not exclusively playing solidly last game catching 13 @ MSU, they almost won the game. If they were catching 12.5 @ Sparta, then they should be catching 6 at home vs. them, and MSU is a legit top 20 team, Purdue sans Hummel is likely not even a top 50 team.

Only 1/2 agree Totally agree the Purdue drops bigtime without Hummel but this is a team sport and one guy doesn't make all the difference. Still, agree that Purdue is overrated. All he did was trash Loyola and didn't mention Pepperdine was on a horrible run. He won the play, but the analysis shared was all about one side. His actual statline 16-7-2-1-1 is a lot less impressive than the team leader stuff, and obviously we can't count free throw shooting and 3 pt shooting on top of PPG. It's hard to argue with how bad they have played lately, but I have a hard time thinking ESPN has really let a major conference team leading white boy go undervalued in the public's eye. I watch less CBB than 90% of this board, and I hear this guys name non stop.
