554 iupui –3.5 Last season not a lot was expected from this team after losing George Hill to the NBA, but they rose up and played some of their best games against the bigger universities. They lost by three points to Indiana, lost by one point to Arizona State and beat Seton Hall. This season they return four starters and nine letterman of last year’s team. I don’t think you will find a hotter team on offense right now than the Jaguars who are shooting an impressive 59% from the field on the season. They did not do this against cup cake teams winning both games on the road against Drake and Eastern Illinois. The Governor’s should very well be 0-2 on the season losing to Tennessee and were it not for a huge rally against Akron where they were down 17 with seven minutes to go. The Governor’s problems have always been on the defensive end, last season they were raked #305 in defensive efficiency and this season does not appear to be any better. I believe not only are the Jaguars the better team on defense that they also are the better team on offense. I think the Jaguars are going to surprise some people and make a great showing in this Glen Wilkes Classic.
