559 uni +6 I like 559 Northern Iowa +6 over Iowa State. Road teams have taken each of the last couple of games in the series. Makes sense as the proximity has the travel easy and adds a lot of fans from the road team. Coaches are best friends and know each other very well tactically and strategically. UNI more accomplished program the past few years, three straight NCAA tourney appearances. ISU is improved this year but UNI has everyone back from the team that gave Purdue a real run in the tourney last year. UNI has shot poorly so far this year but they are guys who have made the same shots in the past so the hope is that the shooting turns around tonight.
Veteran forwards and ISU's two leading scorers Brackins (17/7) and Gilstrap (13/8) for Iowa State will both play but have picked up bronchitis-type symptoms the past couple of days, as mentioned in the article below.
