# 573 providence +6

# 573 providence +6 great spot for the friars...despite the losing streak coming in this team has continued to play hard for coach keno davis and with no postseason tournament berths in their sights they will be loose and approach this tourney as a fresh start with an oppurtunity to spoil some teams plans...now these teams met just 3 nights ago in providence in the friars home finale and seton hall won by 12 in what was an atrocious spot for the home team...providence was coming off 2 solid road efforts that had both resulted in losses when they should have been wins and it shows me this group hadn't quit on the season...in those 2 games feb 27th they go to a south florida team(11-4 at home)as a 6 pt dog and led by 1 with 17 seconds left before losing...then last thursday night they go into pittsburgh(17-1 at home)as an 11 pt dog, have an outright lead for a large portion of the game and lose it at the buzzer on a 3 pointer by pitt...so it was 2 heartbreaking road losses with then just 1 day off and were just flat this past saturday night never getting untracked...some other notes about the game 3 nights ago...jamine peterson is a monster for providence as this guy is avg 19 pts and 10 rebs a game and in 30 games this season it was the only time he fouled out!!...what? was tim donoghy doing the game?...he finished the game with 6 points(2nd lowest total of the season)and 4 rebounds(also 2nd lowest total of the season)this guy should have an attitude tonight...in that meeting providence got up 19 more field goal attempts and outrebounded seton hall 42-27 with their best board guy limited by fouls!!...staggering stuff for a team asked to lay 6 on a nuetral floor just 3 days later...seton hall doesn't often take the court away from home in this spread role and the fact that the pirates are being referred to as a "bubble team" plays right into our hands...this game comes down to the wire with a possible upset by the friars...# 573 PROVIDENCE +6 a great bet...good luck gentlemen.
