# 723 new orleans +14.5 2-2 yesterday after missing georgetown and indiana st. both by a bucket...got just this play for thursday.
this number is just too high for this denver club tonight.i can't emphasize enough the difference billy humphrey makes for this new orleans team.he is their scoring leader at 18 ppg and he plays the most minutes while shooting 89% from the ft line.he came back saturday after a 2 game setback to lead them to victory and also end a 7 game losing streak.new orleans shot the ball very well in that game and they can finally come into a game with at least a touch of confidence.in denver's last 21 home games vs board teams they have won just once by this margin...it's not what they do.some of their point totals this year at home include 65,56,62,59 and 64...not good for a team that just isn't comfortable laying this kind of wood facing a new orleans team giving up just 64ppg.even in some of the worst of times this year the privateers have defended.denver with home wins by 1,3,6,9 and 3 by 7...new orleans has been competitive on the road WITH humphrey in the lineup losing by 8 at georgia,by 2 at troy and winning at tulane.when they lost 3 games in 3 days in late december he was hurt early in the first game and next 2 days were the games he sat out.i got a team that can play a little defense off just ending a losing streak vs a team that blows NOBODY out in magness arena and has had many spells this year without putting the ball in the basket....this is an absurd number in this game.... # 723 NEW ORLEANS +14.5 is a big play....good luck fellas
