#736 Baylor +1 over Texas

#736 Baylor +1 over Texas What a difference five days and a change of scenery makes. Not a whole lot when it comes to tonight's Big XII Tournament matchup between Baylor and Texas. Five days ago, Baylor, as a 3-point favorite, easily handled Texas, 92-77. Earlier in the year as a 9-point dog, the Bears had defeated the Longhorns, 80-77, in overtime in Austin. While some handicappers cling to the adage that it is difficult to beat the same team three times in a given season, I believe, by and large, that is just lazy handicapping. On one hand, Baylor is operating like a well-oiled machine on offense and sliced and diced Texas' defense last weekend with precision passing and cuts to the basket. Texas, on the flip side, often looks lost on offense, seemingly without much of a plan or design. During the 2010 portion of its schedule, Texas is 3-15 ATS, with two of those covers coming against Oklahoma State. Had the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi been a lined game, that record would drop a little further to 3-16 ATS. Baylor, meanwhile, has regularly got its backers the money, sporting a 15-8 ATS record. Take Baylor and 1 point. Good luck, Paul
Thanks badwater for the writeup, but something seems fishy here about this game. I played Texas, small, just a gut feeling that these guys dig deep and get the win, however Baylor's guards lay over the Horns for sure. Best of Luck
