76ers +7.5 an obvious play? I have bet some 76ers +7.5 tonight. There must be some sharp groups on it as I went into the Cal Neva to get it and they moved it to 7. Off to MGM and they moved it to 7 before I could bet it. They're starting to run out.
If one didn't know the names of players and did an independent power ratings I think the 76ers would rank as a better team so far. Maybe
only by a point or so but I'm confident they would be better. Let's say one had them even. Let's add 6 pts for Miami being home rested which is 1 pt too many probably but let's do it for this example. Wade is out for Miami tonight and Hawes is out for Philly. Let's actually call that even and give Hawes some props for his work so far.
I think +7 is about the maximum one could get this spread and I think you have to stretch for that a lot. It is possible a more objective analysis would be as low as Miami -4.
Philadelphia ----so far-----an excellent team. Are they due for a huge letdown?
