# 809 new jersey nets +10 this is a very good spot for the nets to compete.new jersey is coming off a throwaway performance wednesday night in atlanta falling behind by 17 after 1 qtr and never getting in the game.nets missed their first 11 shots to start out and it all snowballed from there with atlanta making 13 3pt fg and shooting 58% on the night.hawks came in that game with a 4 game losing streak and held a players only meeting before the game.in a nutshell it was atlanta's night and the nets hit a buzzsaw.coach vandeweghe and a couple players acknowledged that the energy level was poor from the get go and imo new jersey comes out with a better focus and readiness after sitting on that thrashing with a day off before tonight's game...on the flip side of this i question new orleans ability to put anybody away.they are off 2 nice road wins at utah and okla city with 2 road games up after this game.so it's a single home game sandwiched around 4 road games.i remember when cleveland did this earlier this season lebron james said it takes on the feel of 5 straight road games...i don't think the hornets are in an ideal scheduling situation here....hornets have played 16 home games this year and won NONE of them by double digits and in their last 11 games home or away all were decided by single digits.they are a team playing a ton of close games regardless of being a favorite or an underdog...but now to lay 10 is completely out of their element...nets bring better effort vs a team that could go through the motions in a home game they are "supposed" to cruise in...nets hang around all night....NETS +10 is a play....good luck fellas
