# 849 niagara -1.5 really like the current form of this team...it's a senior laden group which is a huge plus this time of year vs a fairfield team being carried by a freshman(needham)...purple eagles top 3 scorers are all seniors(lewis,benn and garrison)and they are playing like it lately winning 7 of their last 9 games with one of those losses at fairfield in overtime just last week...niagara's top production guy off the bench(williamson)is also a senior...it's the last crack at it for this unit and they want nothing more than a shot at siena monday night and i think it will show today...after siena nobody in the maac has shot more free throws than this niagara team and last night they went 33-38 from the stripe vs iona in a pk em game where that stat pretty much dictated the outcome...they have attempted more than 100 more ft's than fairfield this season...head coach joe mihalich has put a huge emphasis on getting to the charity stripe over the last few weeks in practice and it is making a difference(any player under 70% has been running a ton of extra sprints)...niagara's experience in these settings will have an impact today and the purple eagles get there laying the short chalk...good luck today gentlemen.
