# 854 mississippi st. -1.5 this is my top play for friday
we are going to get a very focused and pissed off favorite tonight with this bulldog team facing a florida team getting all the pats on the back after getting lip service last night about getting "off the bubble" with a 9 point win over auburn...in a game where auburn missed 21 3 pointers the gators found themselves clinging to a 5 pt lead late in the game...florida played the game as if they were told it was a play in game to the dance and tonight we see a step back vs a mississippi st club ready to pounce laying a short price...florida was also out rebounded by a pedestrian auburn team that is nowhere near as agressive as mississippi st on the glass...bulldogs come into this tourney having lost their last 2 regular season games both as favorites including a disappointing senior night loss to tennessee and they have heard about it...after that game coach rick stansbury said "we got punched in the mouth and stood there with no emotion,that hasn't happened to this group before."...i think the bulldogs are sitting on a huge effort tonight...this is a nice well rounded basketball team that is imo more efficient on both ends of the floor than florida...they have the sec defensive player of the year in jarvis varnado who leads the conference in rebounding and blocked shots and should be a load for florida to contain...dee bost is 2nd in the conf in assists,they are 2nd in the sec in rebounding as a team,4th in 3 pt % and florida is the 2nd worst in that category...mississippi st is going to bring it tonight and they could put some margin on this florida team...very cheap price...# 854 MISSISSIPPI ST. -1.5 is a big play for me...i like this card today fellas and here are the rest of my plays for friday cbb...
