All right, Starting TODAY, RAS kicks ass

You can't pay 25 units for a season of picks. That's insane. I hope there is more to it than that because you are sunk before you start. Agree with Sean. If you don't bet at least $300 a bet you shouldn't be paying for plays. At low bets your bankroll is reloadable. Learn to make your own bets and if you fail you can replace that BR in short time. You can do 20 units worse than RAS and still come out ahead. If there is someone out there who thinks they cannot stay within 20 units of a touts record I'd like to meet them because they are an automatic fade. You'd have to cap poorly and bet poorly to be that bad.
Another clunker tonite, I don't know about everyone else but I am so depressed over the current RAS selections im about to throw in the towel on playing them.
I threw in the towel 3 weeks ago and was laughed at over and over.......MUHAAAAAAAAA
I threw in the towel 3 weeks ago and was laughed at over and over.......MUHAAAAAAAAA
Good move, I should have done the same. It's an incredible downswing to say the least. Since the peak on 1/12 of +23.4 units RAS. The month of february has not been that bad in general it's mostly juice: February 30-31 sides -5.10u 35-34 totals -2.4u The big damage was the last 2.5 weeks of january after the the peak was reach on 1/12. 16-22 sides 10-21 totals Playing the totals @ 2u I am sitting here down ~45units in a little over 5 weeks.

So you can't use the RAS records, so the actual bottom line is an even worse outcome for followers. As far as Ice Tea, buddy I'm sorry but betting $50 a game and paying this much for the service is crazy. Before I started fading RAS (this week) I was playing the sides for 3k and the totals for 4500 (usually 3k as close to the number as possible and 1500 at a point to point and a half worse) and I wouldn't dare dream to pay the subscription fee if I were betting much less than that. It doesn't even make sense to pay the price for subscription if you were betting $500 per game much less $50. As a recreational bettor you would be much better off playing $50 a game on your own picks or finding a free poster that has a clue on a forum board and tail them for free.

Asking a service to win more than 5 units for you is unrealistic Your bet size is too low to pay for the subscription. You need to risk at least $500 at a minimum. OF course, that's about themaximum you can get down on these guys.

I hear you Ice Tea. Absolutely I see how any of us are frustrated for all of the reasons that Burger has mentioned and I have mentioned as well. I haven't been all positive. I said a few weeks ago the handicapping is off. I said a few days ago I cannot believe his losses are only 2 pts worse than last year. Almost of all of you know more than I do about college totals and probably the RAS service in general. His last 2 years are a complete anomaly. That is right from the record on his web site. How easy were the college totals market in 2004 or 2001 and I see his profit is 1 unit in each of these years for all of college basketball? The way this board gets whimsical about the past I'd have to figure this guy's handicapping was pretty ordinary if he could only win 1 unit in college basketball in 2001 considering it was so easy to win then. My own target for his service was +20 units and am hoping for +30units. Would be a touch disappointed with +10...and so on from there and cross my fingers like crazy he doesn't go -20. And my expectation is through the roof when he's only had 2 seasons where he's won at least 20 units and that is the last 2 seasons. I've done all kinds of things sub optimally on RAS but TGunn knows the 2 units on the totals does't come with the RAS stamp of approval I don't think. Probably the right thing to do if you look at RAS history. But wasn't right....so far....this season. Unfortunately Ice Tea probably 50 dollars a unit that really sets too high a bar to be profitable. If you rode this trip up 100 units plus the past before that (and I haven't) I don't know how you can be furious about this year. He's down 5 units. I concur with a few missed numbers and that will hurt your units but if you're betting 2 pts off that is just bad strategy. If you're new to this I absolutely see the frustration. Heck, I do understand being up 100 units or more and not being up 50 more this year is irritating. I think I said this earlier this year but let's see the next 50 plays.
RAS baby, 2-0 start. VCU/Drexel almost gave me a heart attack, 11pts in final 27 seconds. It's nice to win a close one.

Also... I think it has to be brought up that similiar to a couple of years ago when Edward consistently played the PHX Mercury UNDERS in the WNBA on almost a weekly basis without fail for an entire season, New Mexico (Losers of 4 in a row) has been the release for 6 of RAS last 35 side releases. 6 of 35? Over 2000 games to choose from in that span and New Mexico is the play over 17% of the time on his side releases? Interesting.
