Arizona +7 1/2, Illinois +7 1/2, CBB teaser, good bet?

Arizona +7 1/2, Illinois +7 1/2, CBB teaser, good bet? Won this bet, but looking for input to see if this was any good. Teased both 3 point dogs to 7 1/2. Played this because of a response by Burger in an earlier thread that indicated teasing off the 3 point dog may have some value.
FWIW... I was referring to NBA home dogs of 3/7/13 only. Had nothing to do with college. Glad you won though.
Not sure it's "safe" to enter into this conversation, but it is never a good value to tease anything in hoops. You pay a significant premium to tease numbers. There are no numbers that are "key" enough to tease in hoops. Save your teasers for +EV football situations when you can cross a number that truly matters (ie- 3).

Perfect example was last Wednesday night (19th)... Cavs were 7 point dogs at home (lost by 8) Mavs were 3 point dogs at home (won outright) I'm not claiming that EVERY 3/7/13 point home dog is a good tease. That is not the case at all. But strategic NBA home teasing where the home dog is 3/7/13 point dogs is VERY profitable. Anyone that tells you different doesn't know what he/she is talking about and is too stubborn to learn from others that are much better at being a "bettor" than than they are.

Still waiting for an example of a solid hoops teaser to be posted PRIOR to tip off. Or better yet, any true evidence of +EV teasing hoops (beyond a one bet 4 day old sample). This is laughable. Anyhow, it was not my intent to flip burgers. I understand that is sometimes not a good idea.
Do you think I have time to post every +EV play that I make? I win money on here for followers in 2H college baskets almost every night and I rarely lose on my selective Warrior games (See Warrior/Clipper discussion thread tonight)... I post tons of winners "prior to tip off"...what do you do exactly? So what I am supposed to post a NBA teaser in the near future and in the case that it does lose (which is obviously about 42%-44% possible) you can come on and blast away saying that "you told me so" whereas if it wins you chime in with a "1 play sample is laughable" diatribe? Boy that sounds enticing. I'm not sure what the "intent to flip burgers not being a good idea" is supposed to mean. But I'm pretty sure soiled maxi's end up flushed down the toilet.
Sure you do. It means that criticizing you can have adverse effects. Something about a Daily Racing Form in one hand, and an Orange Julius in the other.
Sometimes the hershey's kisses wrappers get stuck on the ends of my fingers.
Burger, thanks for sharing the information. Will retire with a 1-0 college basketball teaser record. Also enjoy the halftime wagers, not on the computer enough to get many, but see that they have been winning. Keep up the good work.
Laughable burger thinks teasers in basketball are profitable.
