Bulls -Kings Play As always, comments welcome, SACRAMENTO +7.5 over Chicago – The Kings pulled off a big upset by beating the Lakers 100-91 in their season opener at home. It is not surprising that they fell completely flat in Portland the next day. Here they are back home and rested. We expect them to challenge the Bulls, so we’re grabbing the 7.5 points.

Both these teams are off bad losses. However, the Kings respond better than the Bulls in this spot. Sacramento is 5-0 ATS with at most one day of rest after a loss in which they had more turnovers than assists, covering by an average of a whopping 15.8 ppg. Check it out with this SDQL text:

team=Kings and rest Also, Sacramento is 6-0 ATS (11.5 ppg) when Jason Thompson took fewer than 10 shots the last two games, 4-0 ATS (+13.4 ppg) when Demarcus Cousins had a double-double the last two games and 4-0 ATS (+11.5 ppg) after a loss in which Tyreke Evans had at least 5 turnovers.

As for the Bulls, we find that they are 0-4 ATS on the road after a game in which they had more turnovers than assists, 0-6 ATS on the road after a loss in which Joakim Noah scored fewer than 10 points and 0-4 ATS after a loss in which Carlos Boozer played fewer than 30 minutes.

We love the energy this Kings’ team has at home and they are getting fantastic crowd support. The Bulls have a game with the Clippers tomorrow in LA and then their home opener after that. This is a big number to ask them to cover under these conditions. Grab the points.
