Spot heavily favors A&M which was recently trounced by Texas in Austin and now faces a talented Longhorn team which is having to make the quick turnaround from Saturday night's ESPN home game against Mizzou.
A&M plays much better at Reed Arena, while one could reasonably expect the Longhorns to have some residual effects from Saturday night's miserable showing from the free throw line.
Missed FTs didn't cost the Longhorns against the Tigers, they could here.
On the down side, this year's Texas team is the antithesis of last year's squad and clearly ranks among the nation's top teams. Cohesion, unselfishness and tenacity has replaced the disjointed, selfish and sometimes soft characteristics of the 2009-10 Longhorn team.
