cbb plays for thur. i'm on 2 cbb games both out of the horizon league...may have a couple more plays in a bit. # 532 illinois-chicago +5 there is no question how different this flames team has been home vs road...this is a 5-5 home team that 3 of the 5 losses were by 4,5 and 6 so they've been run out just twice in 10 home games and it was by butler and wright st the top 2 teams in the horizon...cleveland st is not those two teams and they get away from absolutely nobody on the road.this team is 1-9 away from it's home floor and is playing it's 1st road game in almost 3 weeks....uic is off a great effort going to detroit as a huge dog and losing by just 3 showing they are not quitting....when these 2 played in cleveland jan 9 the vikings won by just 7...in that game csu shot 51% from the field,40% from 3 pt range and 94% from the line yet found themselves up just 3 with 50 secs.left....should tell you something....now this team that has no killer instinct on the road whatsoever is asked to lay 5 vs that same club in their 1st travel spot in 19 days...flames are the right side here. # 536 valparaiso +6 boy i think this is a really good spot for this home dog...like the current form of this team.they are off a 3-1 road trip which isn't often done at valpo and are starting a big homestand vs a wright st team they trail by just 1 game in league standings...i feel this number is way too high with valpo's confidence level right now.only once in the last 10 games do they have a loss by more than 6...this is a strong home floor as well with valpo 6-1 here with the 1 loss by 6 as well.....you want to talk about a game sticking out well on jan 10 valpo went to wright st had a 9 pt lead late and gives up the final 11 points to lose by 2...safe to say this one is circled for the crusaders and it's a very generous number....valpo leading the league in fg % and 3 pt shooting %.....too many points to pass up in a game they could very well win. good luck gentlemen hope you crush em today....may post 1 or 2 more plays later
1 nba play # 504 portland trailblazers +2.5 not so sure san antonio should be the favorite here...both on a back to back but if portland's game wasn't in utah we get a pk or maybe blazers -1 situation....san antonio has been holding duncan back a little on these back to backs which helps our cause...blazers have had spurs number of late taking the first 2 meetings this year(one of which was without brandon roy who most likely won't be back tonight) and taking last 4 overall in the series...blazers match up well with this team and having tony parker in all likelihood back doesn't deter me at all as george hill was really finding his groove as a starter scoring 18,17 and 23 last 3 games and now that may get interupted...spurs have played 29 of 47 at home!....don't think they should lay points here on the road in a back to back vs a team hungry to erase last night's performance and is 17-9 at home....blazers +2.5 is the side here
nba 2nd half play # 504 blazers 2ND HALF +1......going to be a big night.this is ski mask material
# 504 blazers 2ND HALF +1......going to be a big night.this is ski mask material
Never underestimate the never-quit mentality of our injury-riddled team. Nate has these guys playing hard 100% of the time when they are down on their luck at home--especially on national TV. I thought the Spurs had 'em left for dead up 10 in the 4th qtr though, but that wasn't the same quality SA team of 3 years ago. Stick a fork in those guys...their better days are behind them. (That's the best ski mask icon to choose from!)
