Denver has the Knicks, Magic and Spurs after Toronto, and they could (probably) lose all three, as these aren't the same 'ole Knicks, as the Knicks have won 9 of 11. So Denver will be especially motivated to win this game against Toronto. They want to hurry up and get this over with before it becomes a distraction. Stats have nothing to do with this game as you will most likely see Denver give an all-out performance to win this game vs the "just another game" performance of Toronto. I don't see them leaving this one up to chance. They may do just enough to win in the 2nd half if they get a big lead, but they should be all business no matter what in the 1st half. I would think they'd emphasize coming out strong to ensure a lead throughout the game. 1q is p -115 and 1h is -1 -105

This game brings in an old gambling rule I once heard. It was bet on toronto when they're hosting a team who is on the 2nd nite of a back to back. Theory went that the team is invaribly delayed going thru customs and don't get the proper rest. Have no numbers to back it up, just passing on "wisdom". Probably on par with the old "bet against any team who played the night before in Denver" theory, as they would be oxygen-depleted. Where do we get these theories ?
