Done with RAS and all Fez advice regarding services

Done with RAS and all Fez advice regarding services I buy services and bet on their plays. Not shy about it. I've bought plays from RAS, Sharp Football Analysis, Wunderdog, The Swami Group, Big Al, Sportsmemo, WAR and several less respected handicappers. Of all my full season packages over the years, never have I been more disappointed and disgusted than I was this season with RAS. So that's saying something. I admit, I started thinking about posting this during the ridiculous Was State +3, 31 point blowout loss so my blood was boiling. A combination of the losing plays week in, week out, losing at the worst times, losing by huge margins frequently (games not even being close, clearly totally wrong side games when a clear right side was available), no logic shared at all as to why they are losing, why they haven't adjusted their models so they can actually win, the rumors of them being in the bed with BW, them betting the other side of releases after line movement.... The whole thing just sucks. My current impression of them: A lot of people around here think they are GOD but to me they had an absoultely outstanding 2009 campaign in CBB+CFB. Other than 2009, for CFB, they've never been great on FB. They've been nothing better than "good", hitting 54% across the prior 4 years. 54% may b good for betting, but a service hitting 54%, when I have to buy their plays and beat 52.4%, does not get the job done for me. They have always been better in CBB but they are completely untrustworthy after this season in my opinion. That's about it - I have no trust in them any more, and they used to be one of the most "trusted" services out there. I'm done with fighting over release numbers, getting worse numbers than they give, this season's losing, not trusting them not to bet the other side or bet before release... When it comes to Fez, I haven't seen all his posts, but the 2 I remember the most clearly regarding RAS were: On 2/16/11, Saying how RAS will kick ass starting NOW because they focus on just 1 sport at a time. They clearly did not kick ass at that time, or any time since the new year. Then on 3/17/11, saying "RAS 'teaching' the marketplace how to bet. The logic was proved not to be winning for the last several years and RAS isn't teaching anything, they are down over 8.5 units since that date factoring in Was St+3 completely wrong side loser (in which they surely bet the other side because there's no way they could have thought Was was the right side). When I discussed to friedns or online my "recommended services" that have made me the most money, RAS used to always be in the top 3. No longer. And I am done respecting or caring what Fez's opinion on other services are. He's been totally wrong for as long as I've been on this board: The 3 examples I have: 1. He followed Dr. Bob several seasons too long in the NFL, after Bob fell off completely. 2. Now he's following RAS and continuing to give them credit where no credit is due. 3. Fez continually says no one can beat 54% long term yet, I think specifically referring to NFL, though I currently am buying from several services who have destroyed that record. One of my favorite quotes is exactly what Fez’s problem is: "The person who says "It can't be done" is liable to be interrupted by someone doing it." Just because Fez can’t hit a strong % for multiple years does not mean no one can, and many of my favorites are. That’s why I am going to start a thread in the NFL forum sharing my favorite handicappers and why I like them, and these 3 guys all beat 54% with ease. Anyhow, RAS would be on that list (in terms of favs in all sports) if this was April 2010, but now in 2011, there’s no way I can say: "Yes, I like them, they win enough to make it worth your time/money to buy them, they are trustworthy, and I can recommend them to you for the 2011 season." I know there are some amounts of me being bitter for them losing this year, but I feel I can't trust them to win for me or be honest with me anymore.
I agree with a lot of your points, thus, my decision not to endorse ANY services RAS is no doubt winning big on his own bets, but he has clearly slipped. ANd the market won't let you bet anything. He can show -8 units, but anyone betting say 3k on his stuff per release lost more like 30 units into number 20 seconds after release.
"I buy services and bet on their plays. Not shy about it. " Didn't know there were any less respected handicappers than WAR. You learn something new every day. LOL
Yes, I didn't exactly review that 'gulp' list Wayne Allen Root isn't respected in the gambling community. Upset? Angry? Frustrated? I hear you! If it helps, personally I bet Dr. Bob, I bet ER in the NBA, I plan to bet TimT for MLB, and I WILL keep betting RAS, (I split a membership with someone else)BUT 1. I ONLY bet his sides ealier in the year 2. I bet his totals but ONLY if I get his release number 3. I ROUTINELY fire back the other way after 1/5 on his totals and go for middles.....figuring NO WAY the adjusted market AFTER a 2.5 point move can possibly be right......LATER in the year. I'm VERY careful with WHAT I bet with Dr. Bob........when he gives out silly stuff like Oregon as an opinion game III, I laugh, but OR as an opinion Game II was clearly bettable IMO even after the line moved to -4.5.

I posted my list of My most Profitable and Highest Recommended NFL Services in the NFL forum. WAR didn't make the list for me. I was not meaning to say WAR is as respected as the other guys I mentioned above, but he is more respected (at least for me) than some other guys I've bought from in the past. I've been buying plays for a little while now and have definitely met some seedy guys.
I would do a full list for hoops but being the NBA season is almost over, seems pointless right now but the couple of guys I do like agree w/ Fez - Tim T and ER are both very good in NBA.
Yep. Considering after the line move someone publishes RAS's plays anyway, you're getting picks of equal value for free -- once conference season starts. As far as Wayne Root goes, is he still eating that macrobiotic diet?

He was one I bought when I didn't know as much about finding good services.
"I plan to bet TimT for MLB" [QUOTE=Fezzik "I plan to bet TimT for MLB" Fez- Are you talking about Trushel?
Yep. We've heard a lot of good things about his totals here.
