Done with RAS and all Fez advice regarding services

Yes, TIM T baseball I'm not endorsing ANYONE going forward. I would much rather just say who I'm willing to pay for. Fyi, I LOVE BigAl, and Wayne Allen Root has been nice to me too, but I wouldn't buy their picks....... Why? In many ways these guys have WAY too normal lives......more well rounded, doing other stuff, etc. GIMME ER holing up til 4AM every night pounding away on a card, too busy to see a movie FRIDAY night.........THAT IS MY KIND OF GUY!!
Of all my full season packages over the years, never have I been more disappointed and disgusted than I was this season with RAS. So that's saying something. I admit, I started thinking about posting this during the ridiculous Was State +3, 31 point blowout loss so my blood was boiling. A combination of the losing plays week in, week out, losing at the worst times, losing by huge margins frequently (games not even being close, clearly totally wrong side games when a clear right side was available), no logic shared at all as to why they are losing, why they haven't adjusted their models so they can actually win, the rumors of them being in the bed with BW, them betting the other side of releases after line movement.... The whole thing just sucks. My current impression of them: A lot of people around here think they are GOD but to me they had an absoultely outstanding 2009 campaign in CBB+CFB. Other than 2009, for CFB, they've never been great on FB. They've been nothing better than "good", hitting 54% across the prior 4 years. 54% may b good for betting, but a service hitting 54%, when I have to buy their plays and beat 52.4%, does not get the job done for me. They have always been better in CBB but they are completely untrustworthy after this season in my opinion. That's about it - I have no trust in them any more, and they used to be one of the most "trusted" services out there. I'm done with fighting over release numbers, getting worse numbers than they give, this season's losing, not trusting them not to bet the other side or bet before release.
We hit 60.8% on CBB totals on 620 plays over the previous three seasons, and before the season I probably would have laid -5000 that we would be positive units on CBB totals this year, so we are as disappointed and surprised as anyone to finish at 105-107 on them. It has been a humbling experience. As far as logic to explain it, I think it was a number of things. We averaged +30 units the past two years on totals in Nov-Dec-Jan, and this year we did not have the full board of totals to work with until the final days of January. When the market did finally open up, we released many plays later in the day than we ever had, after just about every service, forum poster, and betting group had already fired away and taken most of the low hanging fruit away. There has been a lot of talk in different circles about the market being tougher this year, and that is even more of a factor when you have to wait for near full market maturity to make plays. Aggravating this is the fact that we announce to the world exactly when we will be making our plays 10-15 minutes beforehand, giving all competitors a final opportunity to "get their bets in", often leaving us with worse lines and/or fewer plays than what was available just minutes before. Could you imagine BW or some other group doing the same? Combine all of that with negative variance, some poor timing and decisions on our part, and it adds up to our first losing CBB season ever. We are well aware of the difficulty following the service due to line movement. No one is satisfied with the current situation. If we offer a service to the public again, significant changes to how and when we release plays will have to be made.
Kudos to RAS, no Yoshing, no Hail Marys They wound up down, and accepted it for the service. STILL +70 units or whatever over 3 years.....damn good.......for those that can type VERY fast.......
