While I appreciate their efforts, and believe me, everyone is different, I find myself over at bettingtalk and EOG the majority of the time.
This site has lost a lot of good cappers/posters. Alf and Trushot (who rarely posts now), The Dude is gone, Helmut is over at BT, and Discreet Cat posted a huge horse winner at EOG about a month ago, but nothing here.
I just think the site has flattened out. I'm not sure what the "model" is moving forward.
I think most people come to the site for Fezz' plays, and, as is the case for the last person who was just refunded, if he's not posting on a regular basis, or losing, they get frustrated.
Some ideas to make the site better- How about some contests? A March Madness or NCAA Bowls contest for subscribers would have been nice.
Try and get some cappers back. Maybe tell Alf to just concentrate on one sport, like golf, when it comes to posting on the board.
Generate more sports and gambling talk, whether it's about Sportsbooks, Vegas, or just sports related topics in general.
I think you can have it both ways, avoiding " the shit show", like the old Fezzik's place turned into, while at the same time, having a good, solid sports forum, that people will gravitate to.
I'm sure other posters have some ideas about how to make the site better. There are some sharp people here.[/QUOTE]skins i believe you are right---a lot of the sharps were going to post here but they never do and if they did how would we know who they are---anthony was going to post their names so we could watch and learn but i'm still waiting. so far the sharps i can name are fezz, bleonard(rarely posts) charlie J (rarely posts) alf(gone) ted severansky(rarely posts) off hand i can't think of any more sharps..Just my opinion
